I also had this issue so I decided to create a quick and simple time saver action to saves more time for my creations. By using an existing grid you can save up to a half an hour at best.

Garlic Chicken

Cut up a whole chicken and season with salt and pepper. Brown the chicken pieces in a oven proof pan with a little bit of butter and olive oil. Removed the pieces when braised on both sides. Add about 20 pieces of garlic cloves, 2 stalks of celery and one grated carrot sauté in the pan juices just slightly, do not burn garlic or it will turn bitter. Stir in 2 cups chicken broth scrapping the bits off the bottom of the pan. Add the chicken back in the pan, add one can of corn and top with chopped cilantro. Place in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, removed dish from oven, and take the chicken our placing it on something to put back in over to keep warm while you make the sauce in the dish you cooked the chicken in. Add about a half cup of cream and then Wisk in some flour into the pan juices and bring to boil creating thin gravy. Salt and pepper to taste. Put chicken back in pan and cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes at 400 to finish off.

Meringue Bunnies

One of my favorite magazines is "Taste of Home" They have a recipe I thought I would share with all of you. "Meringue Bunnies"

You Will Need

2 egg whites1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar1/2 cup sugar1/4 cup pink candy coating disks36 heart-shaped red decorating sprinkles

What to Do

1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating on high until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a pastry or plastic bag; cut a small hole in a corner of the bag.2. On parchment-lined baking sheets, pipe the meringue into 4-3/4-in. bunny shapes. Bake at 225° for 1-1/2 hours or until firm. Remove to wire racks.3. In a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Place in a pastry or plastic bag. Pipe ears, whiskers and mouths on bunnies. Attach hearts for eyes and nose with melted candy coating.

Yield: 1 dozen

NEW GRANDBABY!!!!

Sorry that I have not posted in over a week but my daughter finally had her new baby. This is her 3rd child. She had 2 boys and now she has 3. That's right it's a BOY!!!

We stayed with her the whole week. Her husband only got the day he was born off of work so I stayed at the hospital with her and my hubby took care of her 2 other boys while mommy was in hospital.

She named the baby, Talen David! And he is a cutieeeeeeeeeeeeeee Look for your self

He was 7.5 lb and 19 1/2 inches. Mamaw is finally back home now and needs about 10 days rest ...LOL

Well, you can tell the warm weather is having it's effect on me. My two youngest grandsons have both started baseball practice and I thought I would get busy and create some baseball action for the occasion. Once I got started, I decided to create several and bundle them up like i did my football and cheerleader ones. So here it is.....

Creating a quick scalloped edge on any shape or text is as easy as pressing the play button…..

This action creates a total of 5 different sized scalloped edges. Use 4 of the actions to create a different sized scalloped edges on any shape. Then, it creates an even smaller edge to use on your text. This wonderful action allows you to choose any color, gradient or pattern to fill your shape or text. The action uses 5 different brushes settings to create the scalloped edge which are also provided in order for the action function properly.

I have just created a very useful action. If you love gemstones like I do then you will want to get this action today!This useful action will give you endless options. There are 2 actions within this action. The first action will create a gemstone outline on any shape. You can either fill this shape with a color, gradient, or pattern. Or, you can decide to just use the shape outline for your gemstones. The second action creates a gemstone outline on text. This action allows you to type your text in the font and size of your choice. Then you may choose to fill your text with any color, gradient, or pattern. Or, as with the shape, you can fore go the fill and just create a text outline of the gemstones. Both actions also allow you keep the clear diamond style on your gemstone or change the gemstone to the color of your choice. Bow Wrapped Oval Frame ACTION!

I have created a new product. It is a Bow Wrapped Oval Frame Action.
This pretty action gives you an oval frame that has a bevel applied to it that gives it a special rounded effect. You can fill your frame with the color or pattern of your choice. The action continues creating a ribbon and partially wrapping your oval frame. Then the action finishes off with a beautiful bow that you can also fill with the color or pattern of your choice.
